Limits

During Activity

1. Investigate ease of inserting different types of fixation - U-clamp; - T/ Y-clamp; - Screw (Wormi); - Optionally Gripple method (Terra Lock Pin Range TL-P1 or TL-P3) 2. Test the grass recovery (including seeding) in one growing season with different type of cover for a) grass and b) clay - Tensar - Reinforced Turfmat Gripple - Coco mat, jute mat, hemp mat 3. Testing strength of cover (winter 2021) in combination with fixation - Tensar - Reinforced Turfmat Gripple 4 General test on how to deal with an overlap (imbricated work parallel or transverse to dike axis) 5 General testing of the recent work instruction (version 0.8)

Post-activity conditions

After this the reinfoced turfmat are tested by WP1. See activity of wp1.

Immediate Results

Results /Conclusion

- 40 centimeter of length is enough strength and longer is overkill. - New type of cover layers are tested. - Coconut mat is handy in combination with hard wind as it is permeable.
