Simulating the emegerncy response meeting without real danger Give young professionals of different fields an insight in the process

Participants of the Late Summer School did a role play to simulate an emergency response meeting for a possible levee breach. Each had different roles, tasks and knowledge assigned.

During Activity

It was very helpful to have Marian which helped and observed during the exercise Especially the chairman seemed to realise during the experiment how much decision making is expected of him

Results /Conclusion

The group was able to learn about how crisis managers and decisionmakers have to work through a crisis. The group gained a new respect and knowledge base for these offcials and how the process should work.
