The escavator could reach 35 meters with the 2 ton rock bags. The bags were placed in the erosion hole in a stepway profile. Because the bags were not filled completely the bags formed in the hole. The sides are difficult to make a good connection and this are the week spots of this emergency reparation. Experts worried about the amount of load in the inner part of the levee during an emergency reparation.;The rock bags are tested with an overtopping generator, see other experiment.;It was difficult to place the rock bags in the erosion hole with an escavator. It is also difficult to get the bags on location. This is more a solution for the outerbank of the levee and for breach closure than for this specific situation.;Interesting option but more suitable for the outerbanks and breach closure.;;;False;True;False;
